Our Story

How Trustglen came to be

Trustglen was founded in Hat Yai in 2019 by a small group of people who had each experienced the same quiet difficulty: a family member had passed away or become unwell, and nobody knew where the important papers were. Not because those families were careless — simply because nobody had ever sat down and organised things in a clear, accessible way.

The founders — who came from backgrounds in adult education, archival work, and community facilitation — noticed a gap between what formal legal services offered and what most families actually needed: a calm, practical guide who would sit alongside them, help them sort through their papers without judgement, and leave them with a system they could maintain.

That is still exactly what we do. Over the years we have expanded to include our Values & Memory Workshop, which helps individuals and families record the personal stories and wishes that often go unspoken, and our Community Stewardship Advisory, which supports heritage and cultural organisations in southern Thailand to preserve their records with the same care we bring to individuals.

Our Mission

What we are here to do

Trustglen's mission is to make personal and family record-keeping feel natural and unhurried. We believe that when documents are in order and personal values are written down, families can approach the future with a steadier kind of confidence.

We provide education and practical support only. We do not give legal advice, draft binding documents, or undertake any regulated activity. Our work is about clarity, organisation, and the peaceful sense of having done something meaningful for the people you care about.

How We Work

Our standards and commitments

Full Confidentiality

We do not copy, photograph, or retain any documents you show us. All session notes are returned to you or destroyed at the end of the session. Your personal information is never shared with third parties.

Education-Only Scope

Every member of our team holds relevant qualifications in facilitation, archival practice, or adult learning. We work strictly within an educational and organisational scope — never legal or financial advice.

Person-Led Sessions

We follow your pace and your priorities. Sessions are structured around what you find most pressing, not a fixed agenda. You can pause, ask questions, or change direction at any point.

Data Protection Commitment

We handle all contact and booking information in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA 2019). Please review our Privacy Policy for full details of how your data is used.

Quality Review Process

Each session concludes with a brief review to ensure you feel confident with the outcome. We ask for honest feedback and use it to continuously improve the experience we offer.

Clear Service Boundaries

We always explain clearly what we do and do not do before any session begins. If your needs fall outside our scope, we will say so honestly and, where we can, suggest where you might find appropriate help.

Our Values

Quiet strength, honest work

At Trustglen, we hold a deep respect for the weight of what families carry when they think about the future. Personal records, family memories, and written wishes represent years of a life lived — and they deserve to be treated with corresponding care.

Our work is rooted in three core values. The first is honesty: we are always clear about what we are, what we are not, and what you can realistically expect from working with us. The second is patience: we believe that important conversations and careful organisation cannot be hurried, and we never try to rush them. The third is discretion: what you share with us stays with us, full stop.

We are proud to serve families across Hat Yai and the wider Songkhla region, as well as heritage and community organisations throughout southern Thailand. Each engagement is treated as a privilege, and we take that seriously in everything we do.
